Lochan na h-Achlaise near Glencoe was one of the most wild and oppressive places I have visited. Lochan na h-Achlaise is covered in these amazing boulders which peer out of the water. Unfortunately, having a fixed lens (no zoom, but mmm mmm mmm how crisp are these slides) I was too far from my chosen rocks on the shore. I waded out in bare feet knee deep to get close enough in freezing april water to get the shot. Which I didn't. After drying off I realised I had forgotten to turn my polariser. Being dedicated (ie. a nutter), the trousers were rolled up and I went back out to do it again. It was worth it.
