Golden rocks at Cove

Golden rocks at Cove

15th October 2003

Who says landscape photography is relaxing?  Its all lies!  Cove is a smugglers' harbour an hour east of Edinburgh and is a lovely secluded spot. There is a fantastic sea-arch next to this point (waiting to be photographed in the right light) and I had dashed here to catch the evening sun going down.

As you can see from this shot the sun was creeping further and further out to sea and my position became ever more unstable as I climbed out on the razor sharp rocks - I have the scars to prove it.  Thankfully I managed to get the lovely evening glow and no bones were broken in the process.
