Gullane rocks bathed in fading light

Gullane rocks bathed in fading light

19th August 2003

This tranquil scene was taken near Gullane, a picturesque East Lothian Golfing town.

After reading Joe Cornish's book where he said he prefered some of his newer more minamilist shots I thought I should take a leaf from the [light] master's book.

The tide was fast approaching and I had to fashion a platform from some large rocks then wade back to dry land.  Still, I hope you'll agree it was worth it.  Must get myself some wellies, as wet feet are becoming commonplace!
